The 1-Day Touch Typing Workshop

StarTouch is an innovative, engaging and motivating workshop. It covers all the learning needed to become a touch typist, in a single day!

Often a neglected and overlooked skill, improving typing can be a simple way to achieve far-reaching daily efficiencies across your whole workforce. Based on accelerated learning techniques, it's interactive, memorable and effective - combating the usual drawbacks of self paced, computer-based typing programmes.

Touch Typing is an easily acquired, fundamental skill that brings many benefits to anyone using a computer:

The Workshop

This short-day workshop (9:30am to 4:30pm) - typically for up to 10 participants, at your premises - covers all the learning required for touch typing (keyboard layout & correct fingering) in one engaging, entertaining and memorable session. Includes:

Effective ‘finger drills’: embeds correct ‘muscle memory’  Plenty of practice typing real words (not jumbles of letters) A workable practice regime: helps you apply (& improve!) your new skills A unique software ‘coaching’ tool: reminds you what you’ve learnt, keeps you accountable for your practice, tests your accuracy & speed, and records your progress.
